Overview

NEW LISTING  * Farr 50 Pilot House Yacht * Excellent condition * Fantastic inventory *

She has an extensive inventory and has been meticulously maintained (with lots of documentation and detailed history) regardless of cost.

On deck it is push button sailing all the way with hydraulic In-mast, Genoa & Staysail furling together with the electric cockpit winches. Below the sumptuous mahogany interior offers six berths in three cabins. Loaded with electronics, entertainment systems, generator, watermaker etc, etc, too numerous to list fully here, she is a true blue water cruising yacht. Lying Turkey.

Specifications

General

The design concept for the Farr Pilothouse cruising series was for a fast and comfortable blue water cruiser that could be handled by two people.

The Farr 50 Pilot House is large enough for a couple to live on board in shoreside style and comfort, with ample guest accommodation. She has storage lockers in the bow and stern providing large amounts of space accessible from the deck only. Thus the living accommodation is protected from dinghies, sails and the multitude of gear that, in other yachts, are trailed through the saloon and stowed in the forecabin. For security and safety the forward sail locker is totally watertight and separate from the forward cabin.

The Pilot House provides panoramic views, whilst seated or standing, throughout the saloon. The Farr 50 provides the perfect combination of cosy living-room comfort with airy spaciousness. The seating area in the saloon will easily accommodate 6 to 8 guests. By keeping the accommodation close to the centre of the yacht, the motion at sea is minimised. All other areas of the accommodation lead off the central saloon

Accommodation

Dolce Farr Niente has three sleeping cabins and three heads which provides berths for a maximum of six people outside the pilothouse saloon.

The interior is finished in top quality Khayan mahogany with a teak and holly sole. The galley worktop, heads, shower floors and basin tops are all made from Corian.

FROM FORWARD:- A guest suite, with a centre line queen-size berth and hanging locker to starboard, ample additional stowage, en-suite shower and head. A desk is situated on the port side. Generous stowage under the berth.

Walkway to the midships cabin with a double berth on starboard with two lockers for spare parts etc. There is a good-sized access panel to the engine compartment and above this is a pull out workbench with vice and tool drawers. Opposite the workbench is a large spare parts locker with a huge, well ordered stock of parts. There is a clear plastic floor protection mat to protect the floor in this area.

To port of the walkway is the vented locker for foul weather gear and the day head. There is also an access door to the keel-stepped mast and access to the main bilge area.

Steps to the main saloon area with a large dining table and seating to starboard. Storage below the aft part of the sofa and under the table for glasses and bottles. There is an LG Monitor display on the starboard side of the saloon.

Opposite the dining area is the Navigation area with bench, fuel/water gauges, switches and a Raymarine chart plotter.  The Victron Battery Charger, AIS and Mastervolt Charging Regulator are found behind a door under the Navigation desk. The engine room is below the saloon floor and access is by a large hatch opening on hydraulic rams.

The walk-through galley is between the saloon and the aft cabin positioned in an ideal place for use at sea. It is fitted with a fridge, top loading freezer, force 10 cooker, microwave and an abundance of stowage space.

From the galley you access the master stateroom which has a centreline queen-size berth. Ample hanging lockers are located here with a desk top, drawers and bookshelf to port and small locker and sofa is to starboard. There are two more lockers and a large amount of versatile storage space throughout the cabin. The master stateroom has an ensuite shower and head to starboard, where the washing machine is also installed. There is a Sony Brava Multimedia display and entertainment centre.
